Primary function of the Technical Office is to maintain the vessel in technical operational readiness at all times complying with Classification, Flag Administration, Safety and Environmental Regulations and Requirements. Technical management of the fleet is concentrated in Rome at the offices of d’Amico Società di Navigazione SpA. This key area is constantly developing capabilities, information systems and human resources, counting today a qualified staff of 23, in order to provide the best possible support to d'Amico. Particular emphasis is placed on the quality of services and its continuous improvement and it will be one of d'Amico's primary objectives to provide these superior services to third parties.
The Technical office is organised in four main departments regulated by well defined and implemented system of procedures and instructions:
