Our associate company Compagnia Generale Telemar S.p.A. (Telemar) provides ship to shore communications and equipment, including maintenance and installation for all electronic communication and navigation equipment, in particular radio stations, communication satellites systems, radar and integrated navigation systems, gyro and autopilot.

The company was established in 1947 by leading Italian shipping companies with the aim of providing a fully competent technical support and service network in Italy and abroad through reciprocal service agreements with major manufacturing and service companies world-wide.

With a staff of approx. 133 employees, Telemar is today one of the largest companies in the world providing the full range of services for telecommunications, i.e. installation, service, operation and maintenance.At present Telemar has approx. 4000 vessels under contract.

Telemar has long been a member of the CIRM organization and is ISO 9001 certified since October 1996 for its sales and technical activities.Besides offices in Italy, the Telemar Group includes today companies in the United Kingdom, in the United States as well as in Norway, Sweden and Finland.
